We have witnessed the beautiful intentions and actions that are possible when people saw past labels and differences, and saw each other as human beings, coming together in unity and compassion. How will you keep those intentions alive?
We are inviting you to action compassion and SPREAD PEACE.
SIMPLE ACTIONS:
- Practice random acts of kindness
- Share a hug
- Say something to make someone smile, a smile is the simplest gift
- Help someone with a problem
LEARN
- Read up about compassion with the Charter for Compassion.
PARTICIPATE
- Join up to compassion courses with the Chartered Institute of Compassion. The course explores your relationship with your self, with others, and with society.
Yusuf / Cat Stevens donates Peacetrain
to Ōtautahi Christchurch
The Peace Train Chugger is a customised mini-train that children and adults can ride enjoying songs and messages as they travel on the virtual tracks of peace. The train will arrive later this year in New Zealand and together Christchurch Invitation, Seed The Change NZ and Christchurch City Council will be ensuring the train has a place in the city as a symbol of peace building, compassion and understanding between communities.
